Come join us for a scenic flat closed 5K road course through historic Social Circle, GA during the peak of Autumn
This run will take you through downtown Social circle through cheering crowds during the towns Friendship Festival and past the Historic Blue Willow restaurant
The Course is USATF Certified and can be used as a Peachtree Qualifier
Event details and scheduleRace Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30AM 5K: Starts at 8:30AM Awards: Awards will be given to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top three M/F in standard age groups
Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with complete results online at www.classicraceservices.com, www.coolrunning.com, www.athlinks.com and www.active.com
Proceeds: Proceeds from the race will benefit Marrow Man
The mission is to raise awareness and educate the general public about the National Bone Marrow Registry, Fanconi Anemia, and other childhood blood diseases
We are dedicated to providing inspiration and support through Marrow Man to children and their families who are affected by blood diseases and cancers
Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2016 Black Bag Race Series
Course: USATF Certification #GA15015DJ Shirts and Goodies: Custom short sleeve t-shirts will be guaranteed to all pre-registered participants and as supply last on race day
There will be plenty of refreshments
Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
