Presented in partnership by Wheaton Park District and the FT Cares Foundation. The FT Cares Light the Torch 5K Night Run/Walk is a unique race event through downtown Wheaton after sunset. Participants receive glow giveaways, race through luminary lanes, and end with a street fest featuring DJ and food vendors. First 800 runners receive a long sleeve tech t-shirt. Post-race party includes DJ, giveaways, and refreshments. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Event details and schedule Date: Friday, September 30, 2016 Time: 7:00 p.m. Location: 120 E. Liberty Street, Wheaton Fees: $30 Individual, $25 Team, and $15 Children 10 and under now through August 29. Beginning August 30, $35 Individual, $30 Team*, and children 10 and under $20. $40 Individual and $25 for Children 10 and under for packet pick up and race day registration. *Must have a team of at least 4 Online Reg. Closes: September 26, 2016 11:59p Central Time. Safety: The runners’ safety is of the utmost importance. Therefore, bicycles, in-line skates, and dogs are not allowed. Strollers must begin the race at the rear of the pack. Packet Pick Up: Packet Pickup will be held on Wednesday, September 28 from 10A-7P at the First Trust lobby located at 120 E. Liberty Street in Wheaton. Registration is available during packet pick up and race day for adults $40 and children 10 and under $25, if entry is still available. Race day packet pick up/registration will be held in the lobby of the First Trust Building from 4:00pm - 6:50pm. Volunteers: Volunteers are essential to the success of the race.
