The 2016 Lucy Mac 5K-9 is moving to the Ascutney Trails at Ascutney Mountain! Runners and walkers will be treated to a scenic Vermont adventure as they race along handcrafted trails located on the western base of Ascutney Mountain. The trail will lead participants across fields, over streams, and through the woods, before they finish winding down the ski slopes of Ascutney Mountain. Fall foliage will be underway come race day and the views from this course are sure to be spectacular! All levels and all ages are welcome to participate. For those not quite up to the full 5K Trail Run, we’re also offering a 1-Mile Fun Run (or walk) for people of all ages. This course will be a combination of mostly grass and dirt paths.
Our youngest racers will have the option of completing a special Kids Mini-Course, complete with dog agility inspired obstacles! We’ll also have a unique kids craft project, music, and food for all. We’re thrilled to welcome back 99Rock as one of our 5K-9 sponsors! Participants are welcome to race with or without dogs. We’re so pleased that our friends at Ascutney Outdoors maintain a dog-friendly trail system! Event details and schedule
