Baltimore Columbus Day Parade 5k Date: Sunday, October 2, 2016 Location: Harbor East Waterfront Promenade in Baltimore, MD Time: 5k Race @ 1:00 PM The Inaugural Baltimore Columbus Day Parade 5k is being held in conjunction with the 126th parade and commemoration for Christopher Columbus.
This celebration is one of the many activities taking place during Italian Heritage Month.
Proceeds from the 5k race will be given to the Associated Italian American Charities for dispersal to areas of need within the community.
The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.
Registration: Entry Fees: $35 until October 1st (online preregistration closes on September 30th) $40 on race day The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.
Course Information: The 5k is an out-and-back course beginning in Harbor East and traveling along Baltimore's Inner Harbor on closed roads before returning to finish in Little Italy.
Pets, roller skates, and other wheeled devices (with the exception of jogging strollers) are not allowed on the course for the 5k.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 overall men and women, as well as the top male and female runners in the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+ Amenities: Race shirts are guaranteed to those who register by September 21st (sizes and availability are not guaranteed after the 21st).
Course marshals will direct racers at major turns.
Packet Pick Up: Packets will be available for pick up on race day at the start line (near Columbus Park) from 11:45 AM - 12:50 PM.
