Bowling Green's Inaugural Penguins and Pancakes 5-Miler is coming in February! Brrrr! The P & P route sends you through our beautiful & scenic downtown as well as part of Western Kentucky University campus.
Bundle up...gonna' be a little chilly ! The event kicks off at SKYPAC (Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center) the night before the race with our Penguins and Pancakes Expo, between 4pm-7pm.
Your race entry includes a FREE post-tace pancake breakfast right there at La Gala, near the start and finish line.
The P & P breakfast will also offer bloody mary's and mimosas at a discounted rate for participants.
Last but certainly not least, you will receive a rockin' Penguins and Pancakes sweatshirt! We anticipate Penguins and Pancakes to be a popular event.

Event ScheduleThe race will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday February 25, 2017.
Both the Start and Finish Line are at SKYPAC.Arrival infoAllow time for parking.We encourage you to arrive race-day 45 min to 1 hour prior to start time.
WaiversAll volunteers and participants will sign a waiver at the Expo.
What to bringBe sure to have your bib attached to the front of your body; keep your bib on for the pancake breakfst.
Wear warm clothing and a good pair of running shoes.
Bring your appetite; get ready for some penguin pancakes !!! Course ClosureThe course will close at 9:30 AM.
